The Daily Challenge: five rounds, once a day
The Daily Challenge is the backbone of PicEra. It is short, it is the same shape every time, and it is the only mode with a streak attached.
One run is five rounds drawn from your photo pool, scored the usual way.
One run per rolling 24 hours
The Daily Challenge does not reset at midnight. It uses a rolling 24-hour cooldown that starts when you finish a run, so if you play at 19:00 today your next run unlocks at 19:00 tomorrow. Playing at roughly the same time each day is the easiest way to keep the rhythm.
Streaks
Completing a run continues your streak. Miss the window and the streak resets — there is no purchasable insurance and no silent grace period, which is what makes a long streak worth something.
Results and progression
After the fifth round you get a summary of the run: your guesses, the actual dates, how far off you were and the XP earned. That XP feeds your level, and badges such as Time Traveler and Bullseye come from performances across runs.
If you want more than one run
The daily limit only applies to this mode. Photo Quiz and the Uncertainty Challenge are available whenever you have credits, and Premium removes the play limits and covers lifelines.
