The basics
PicEra is a mobile memory game where you guess the month and year your own photos were taken. Photos come from your camera roll on the device, or from built-in demo photos if you prefer not to grant access.

What is PicEra?
A photo-based memory game. You are shown a photo and guess the month and year it was taken; the closer you are, the higher your score.
How does PicEra work?
Pick a mode, play five rounds, guess the date for each photo, and get a scored summary with XP at the end.
Can I use my own photos?
Yes — that is the point. Grant photo access and PicEra builds rounds from your camera roll on the device.
Does PicEra upload my photos?
No. Photos stay on the device and are never uploaded. Progress is kept in local storage.
Do I need an account?
No. There are no accounts and no sign-up.
What is the Daily Challenge?
Five rounds you can play once per rolling 24-hour window. Finishing a run keeps your streak alive.
What is Photo Quiz?
A multiple-choice mode: pick the correct month and year from four alternatives. Entry costs 3 credits.
What is the Uncertainty Challenge?
A mode where the photo starts blurred and sharpens while you hold your finger on it. Entry costs 3 credits.
How does scoring work?
Points and XP depend on how close your guess is to the real date. An exact month scores highest.
What are credits?
Credits pay for mode entries and lifelines — the Years lifeline costs 2 and the Months lifeline costs 3.
What is PicEra Premium?
A subscription that removes play limits and includes lifelines. Purchases go through the App Store and its billing provider.
Does PicEra track my location?
No. There is no GPS or precise location tracking.
